This is a wonderful Oil on Board by Colin Gibson (B 1948). The painting is of the beautiful City Hall here on Dame Street in Dublin with Trinity College in the back round. The painting is signed and titled lower right. Colin Gibson was born in Belfast and his paintings are mostly painted ‘en plein air’ which create a realistic atmosphere for the viewer.
